I must say that seeing the look on Julian's face when he realized I had set up a Latino Thanksgiving was truly priceless! Now that I'm not marrying Ethan (for the time being) I'm going to be stuck in this house...so I might as well make the best of it. And that means torturing Julian as much as possible! There he was expecting traditional turkey and cranberry sauce, and instead he got turkey with mole sauce and black bean soup! Of course, he has no idea what he's missing. I had the staff use all of Mama's recipes and they did a fantastic job. It may not be quite as good as Mama's (that's not possible!) but it's definitely a close second. I swear; once I took a bite of the fried sweet plantains, I made a very important decision. For the rest of the day, I'm going to live in the moment and enjoy a blessed Thanksgiving. After all, tomorrow is another day...to figure out how to win Ethan back!
