Despite her genes, Sheridan has never followed the immoral Crane way of life. Sheridan's beloved mother, Katherine, died when Sheridan was just a little girl. Since her father and brother never gave her the love she needed, she had a very lonely childhood and never felt like someone worthy of love. That all changed when she fell deeply and passionately in love with Luis Lopez-Fitzgerald. Sheridan and Luis were tragically separated after a boat explosion in which Sheridan was presumed dead.
