The marital mood gets to Sam and Grace as well and they share a passionate kiss. David observes this and is not amused. John admits to Kay he thinks his mother is better off with his father. Kay taunts David with the knowledge that she could destroy him and Ivy at any moment. Charity fears all the weddings in Harmony will be ruined. Mrs. Wallace takes great delight in telling Beth that she believes Antonio will die before his wedding day, and Luis will dump Beth for Sheridan. Beth duct tapes her mother to a chair so she won't have to bring her to Ethan and Gwen's wedding. However, Mrs. Wallace manages to free herself, and makes her way to the church. Antonio hides his painful headaches from Sheridan. Sheridan presses Luis to tell her if he plans to come back to her or still marry Beth if Antonio dies before the wedding. Theresa's gracious behavior has Ivy and Rebecca on edge. They are certain she is up to something, but don't know what it is. Once she's alone, Theresa orders her secretary to have Ethan's employment papers delivered to the church so Gwen can receive them by "mistake." Ethan and Gwen's wedding ceremony begins. As the bride is about to enter, Theresa's secretary rushes in with the employment papers. Julian intercepts them, but when Gwen finds out that the documents must be from Theresa, she demands to see them. Theresa reflects upon happier times with Ethan as she waits to see if her scheme was successful. After going over the papers on her way down the aisle, Gwen slaps Ethan, to the shock of everyone -- everyone, that is, except a gleeful Theresa.
