Arturo Gil
Character actor Arturo Gil made his debut on "Passions" on Friday, November 1 in the role of "Cecil." Cecil is the doll brought to life by the despicable doll "Cracked Connie" to help her wreck havoc in Harmony!

Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, Arturo moved to Puerto Rico with his family when he was just three months old. He returned to New Orleans as a teenager and began to pursue a career as a disc jockey, acquiring his FCC license to broadcast on radio. With the encouragement of his older brother, Arturo moved to southern California in 1982 in hopes of breaking into the Los Angeles radio market. At this time he was hit by the acting bug. His first role was in the 1985 Mel Brooks film, "Spaceballs." His other credits include "Monkeybone," "The Fantasticks," "Dirty Work," "The Munsters' Scary Little Christmas," "Silent Tongue" and "Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey." His television credits include "Charmed," "Ally McBeal," "Just Shoot Me," "Honey I Shrunk the Kids," "The Parkers," "Unhappily Ever After" and Comedy Central's "The Man Show."

Arturo, who stands 3'6", encourages "Hollywood" to use actors with dwarfism, disabilities and ethnic backgrounds in films and television to create a more realistic reflection of our world. His birthday is March 13.
